R&D BOM & ECN Engineer

- Manage Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) in SAP, including BOM creation, maintenance, structure updates, and change management.

- Create BOMs for new products under development and maintain them throughout the transition to mass production.

- Manage the full lifecycle of engineering documents, including product specifications, technical drawings, work instructions, component datasheets, and laser printing documents.

- Operate and control the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process, ensuring design and component changes are accurately synchronized between R&D Vietnam and the manufacturing plant in India.

- Review technical documents, product specifications, and engineering drawings, including exploded views, housing drawings, and cable drawings.

- Update engineering drawings, including exploded drawings, for products in mass production.

- Coordinate with Mechanical, Hardware, Layout, and other relevant teams to ensure ECN/PCR changes are complete, accurate, and consistently reflected across all affected documents.

- Manage new part requests for mechanical and electronic components.

- Manage Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) information for electronic components.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields.

- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

- Strong understanding of single-level and multi-level BOM structures.

- Ability to read and understand basic technical specifications of electronic components from datasheets.

- Familiarity with engineering drawings and document control practices.

- Experience using SAP ERP, particularly MM and PP modules, including:

  - Material master creation.

  - Multi-level BOM management.

  - Stock inventory checking.

  - Info record and pricing management.

  - BOM cost calculation.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator for drawing-related tasks.

- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Good English communication skills and ability to read technical documents.
