Entobel is a biotechnology company founded in 2013 by Belgian entrepreneurs Gaëtan Crielaard and Alexandre de Caters. The company specializes in producing insect-based ingredients for animal feed, pet food, and organic fertilizers, focusing on the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. Entobel aims to convert low-value biomass into high-quality protein, oil, and fertilizer products, contributing to a more sustainable global food system. The company has established a commercial production site in Vietnam and is expanding its operations to meet the growing demand for protein in tropical countries.
